Good product, but I wish it was a tad taller to fully encase the ball to its base. I'm actually using it to protect the plug on the trailer. Still, I'm happy with my purchase.

Keeps grease off the pants; keeps salt and sand from getting to the ball. excellent fit and protection for the 4 wire flat. Fits nice and tight on my 2'' ball so should be a good fit for 1 1/2' ball.

I use this to cover my tow ball when I remove my hitch ball mount when I store my ball mount inside the truck. I use a LED brake light when I am not towing This cover keeps the greased ball ( covered and keeps my trucks interior clean. I no longer have to wipe the ball clean for storage and then regrease the ball each time.I have no use for the "4-way flat wiring mounting pocket to keep connector from the weather", as the connector is part of the trailer and if you have this cover on, you are not connected the trailer....unless I am missing something?Overall, functions exactly as needed for my purpose and the price is right.Dan
