I use a very small paint brush for spreading glue on box joints. A small one is required for accurate application. I must reload the tiny brush scores of times on the typical project... It's tedious.Since PVA glue is pretty thick, I wondered if these paint-pens would be able to extrude it. The pump can extrude this wood glue. Two presses on the pump refills the brush. With the pen, I don't need an open glue container, and I don't have to interrupt the assembly every 10 seconds, to refill the brush.I plan to wash the pens before putting them away, but I left a pen out overnight, just to see if the storage cap is tight enough to prevent this glue from hardening. I could tell the glue on the bristles was just starting to dry. I suggest cleaning the brush after use. (For a thorough cleaning see disassembly pix.)The pen pump mechanism needs to be air tight. By way of three valves, suction and pressure reloads the brush. As paint comes out, a seal inside the filler-tube moves downward a bit with every pump-action. (See pix) Push it back to the top of the tube to fully reload the paint reservoir.Since there are four pens to play with, I'll probably sacrifice one, trying to make a couple changes. One change is the size of the brush. It could be a little smaller or perhaps bigger, for bigger work. Another mod would be a less powerful pump-spring. This strong spring requires I change my grip, so I can pump it with the thumb. (Tried a slightly weaker spring, but the strong return-spring is required.)The pen is an adequate glue applicator and seems perfect for paint touch-ups. Asking price for the kit was $8.49.

This is a great invention. You use the syringe to fill up the paint pen and then use the paint pen the same way you use a Sharpie to apply touchup paint onto the wall. The cap is air tight so you can keep the paint in the pen for multiple days without drying. It is very convenient for doing touchups. The bristles are made of nylon so the paint doesn't stick even if it dries. It is a bit hard to clean since you have to use a hose to throughly flush all the components and send a bunch of water through all the parts to keep paint from trying in the pen. I have also just tried to use it a a paint brush without filling the reservoir and that works well too as this is a very good paint brush. The head bristles are shaped so that you have a lot of control over how the paint is applied. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the pen was difficult to clean if you don't want to store paint inside.

Great set of paint pens. Allows just enough paint to come through if you need to touch up small areas. They don't seem to work very well after you've used it once, so I recommend saving to touch up all at once.

This is a great tool for so many uses, not just the obvious small touch ups around the house. Three precision tips, dispenses a small amount of paint when pushed down, for an easy application. Just a warning, be careful not to over fill or the paint will come out of the top. This is great for those harder to reach areas, like that small space between the wall, door molding & floor molding. I've also used it around light switches & outlets, making straight lines & without removing the covers. It's helped tremendously in getting more straight lines separating the wall color from the floor board trims. These can be used on walls, wood & would be great for crafting too. They are easily cleaned with a little soap & water for re-use, but does have a cap to seal to keep any left over paint from drying up. As instructed I put a slight bit of water of on the brush before I put the cap on as well & it kept the brush soft & pliable. It comes with everything you need, at a great price. Everyone needs these for your home.

Typically I have to buy a small thing of paint to cover any small repairs which is such a waste because either I no longer use that color anymore or it accidentally dries out. With these syringes, I was able to pull out just enough paint to fill these brush pens and cover what I needed to cover. Even after capping everything, the next day, the paint inside was still wet and I was able to apply a second coat on certain areas that needed it. I have only used 1 of these pens which I found is is completely washable and reusable too! Was able to use a bottle brush that had a small brush that fit inside of these pens and syringes. The amount of paint that fits inside of these is more than enough and just so much easier to use rather than getting a whole paint can and brush out. Not to mention, way faster too.

Could you fix up a patch or something like that without these items? Yes. Is it going to be a mess? Yes. Do these save you time and the hassle? Also yes.I think it's worth it! It came with everything and definitely save me both the time and hassle to fix a crayon mark on the wall with paint.
