Nice solid ice maker/water line hook up for a fridge. It does not come with a tap valve, so plan to run this through to you sink base and tie in there. You can always buy that type of valve if you need to of course.The T-valve that comes with this will get the job done, but you will need some plumbing knowhow and have to get at least one fitting (most likely) from the hard ware store to tie into your supply - the sink like and line to the fridge will be fine. All in all easy to install and very functional, I prefer the metal line because a fridge moves in and out and worry that a plastic line will get too brittle over time.

I found the installation of this very easy and the kit had everything in it I needed for my application. I did not get this kit for a refrigerator - I got it to install a fountain for my cat in the bathroom. The fountain attaches to the supply line of the toilet and that's where I used the valve. I used the braided line out in my garage (with a adapter) to drain my water heater into a drain in the garage. It's just the right length for me and I now keep it coiled up on a hook beside the water heater. It's much more manageable (and durable) than a regular garden hose.A 6 foot line isn't super long, but if that's what length you need, this kit's probably as good as any other.

As part of the kitchen remodel, the refrigerator was moved to a new location and and fixed line was installed inside the wall. The new water connection outlet is now right behind the fridge and we needed a much shorter hose. This 6ft hose is exactly the right length.Quality of the hose, fittings, and valve seems excellent. I am happy with this kit!

This kit came with everything I needed to run water from my existing cold water valve fittings to the refrigerator—no extra trips to the hardware store, no surprises. All components were included and clearly of good quality, from the braided tubing to the fittings and connectors.Luckily, my refrigerator is in a straight line and fairly close to my sink, which made the installation even easier. The included tubing was the perfect length, and the entire process was smooth and straightforward. I bought the Refrigerator Ice Maker Water Line Kit and it works perfectly. The braided stainless steel feels strong and durable, and the 6-foot length was just right for my fridge setup. It came with everything I needed, including the water splitter and 1/4" compression fittings.
