This surge protector is smart enough to constantly sense the voltage fluctuations in the electric line. If there’s any fluctuation it will automatically turn off the power supply and prevent your refrigerator from getting damaged. Once the power returns to normal, there is a 3 minutes time delay to confirm that the voltage is stable, so that it could auto re-connect power for your fridge.
The failure detection time is only 0.5 seconds, which means our voltage protector will respond rapidly once a voltage fluctuation is detected. It provides the most professional protection for your refrigerator, so you can be more reassuring of using it.
Two installation methods are offered, you can use screws to fix, or use strong nano-markless hook sticker to attach directly to the wall. The installation is extremely flexible, after plugging in the power supply, it does not occupy the space nor affect the use of other sockets.

This 2-outlet surge protector is very sturdy. It's ability to shut off for a voltage spikes and then, after a 3 minute wait, turn on again. I have it on my Freezer.

I use this connected to an aquarium controller. For some reason when temp extremes are 98 degrees plus the electricity goes on and off through some peak usage of electricity in my subdivision. Once power would surge and click off my aquarium would be off meaning my filters,lights,pumps etc. Since I hooked this up when the power surge this turns everything back on when it detects normal voltage return keeping my aquarium up and running. Also it is a lot cheaper than hooking up a power supply backup device. I have been using this 3 weeks now and no more coming home to an aquarium that's off .

we lost our previous french door refrigerator to power surges from multiple power line transients. shortly after the new unit was installed, a similar PLT event occurred...but we had the suppressor this time. saved the new 2100$ appliance. 'nough said

Too early to say how it will hold up, and it’s not exactly from a well known manufacturer with a history and reputation of service. But, for the price, it does its job. It kicked off our fridge a couple times when we had brown outs. Will be watching to see if it fails prematurely.

So far it works as advertised. Cheaper to replace this instead of replacing the irrigation control
