This sets off the CEL in my 435i for crankcase hose disconnect, because the built-in heater is not even working. In fact, it is not even there, a dummy heater. I checked the termimals and while the oem hose has 5.5ohms, this aftermaket version is zero ohms, thus the code. It is also .5" too short and will break as it is too short.I went to the dealer and paid only $15 more for OEM, and it worked perfect, no code.Stay clear of this hose.

Bought this for my N55 F30 after I snapped mine in half when doing a valve cover change. I don’t know if the aftermarket valve cover was further away or what but I had to remove the foam covering (which shouldn’t have been just foam in the first place) and used a torch to stretch the plastic hose a bit. I couldn’t get it to reach both the valve cover and the intake tube without stretching it. Expensive temporary fix for the moment
