I recently purchased the AlloyLake Reinforced Metal Hooks to organize my garage space, and I’m extremely impressed with their durability and functionality. The 15-inch wall-mounted design provides ample support for my kayak and SUP, and the reinforced metal construction feels solid and reliable. Installation was straightforward with the included hardware, and the hooks are designed to handle heavy loads without bending or loosening over time. I’ve also used them to store a surfboard and paddles, and they hold everything securely with no issues. What I really appreciate is the versatility—these hooks also work great for hanging a bike or extra gear like life vests and ropes. Whether you're outfitting a garage, dock, or even an outdoor shed, these hooks offer a neat and efficient solution. If you’re looking for heavy-duty storage for water sports gear or bikes, I definitely recommend this 2-pack set from AlloyLake. Worth every penny!

Pretty lightweight but hold enough weight to make it worth it. You can probably make a set of these for around 5 bucks in material and an hour of your time, so that begs the question of what an hour of your time is worth? The 5 bux quote is using only part of what you buy, so raw materials will net you 2-3 sets at around 15 bux (10ft 1" emt conduit, black paint, some foam pipe insulation). The price on these is a good value unless you plan on going into production or need a lot of them. For a 1 off, it's a great value. They are sturdy enough to hol my kayak when i am not working on it or taking it out. Installation would have been a breeze if i had something to mount it to (which i did), but i decided to mount it to a chain link fence, so had to cut some wood to go behind and act as supports. It functions just fine, and would have mounted fine if i had mounted it to a wall or wood, etc..All in all, a good solution to get your yak off the saw horses, ground, or your yak rack.

We store our kayak behind my workshop. It’s a small space that gets a lot of use. We have storage boxes for outdoor cushions, pool floats, etc. Having the kayak on the ground has been a problem because acorns and leaves end up between it and the fence. My better half worries that rodents will take advantage of that, so it was time to get the kayak mounted on the fence. These hooks came with screws and anchors, with one extra of each. The screws are substantial and extend an inch and a half through even the thicker mounting hole of the rack. This was actually more than I wanted, as I mounted the hooks on a fence with boards that are only 5/8 inch thick. The other side of the fence faces an alley. I wanted to avoid a pointy screw sticking out on the other side so I mounted the rack on a piece of scrap wood. The hooks don’t come with any guidance about how far apart to space them. So I guesstimated on that as well as whether the two hooks were level. These hooks don’t have much side-to-side strength. But since holding a kayak (or other things) is a downward force, that shouldn’t be a problem. At the price, I think these are an excellent value. They have nice pads where the kayak rests and a cap on the end of what would otherwise be an open tube. We just got a stand-up paddle board and I’ll definitely be getting a set of these hooks to hang it up.

This is a simple product that has been proven to work effectively in a myriad of applications. You'll find variations of the concept for ladders, extension cords, bikes, etc., in just about every hardware store across the landThese AlloyLake Reinforced Metal Hook for Kayaks work great holding my kayak firmly to to back of my house. Installation is simple. You adjust the width to whatever you're hanging and screw the brackets to the wall. There is no flex in the metal so I assume they are strong enough to hold most canoes and individual ladders. I'd stack trim on theses but probably not a bunch of 2x4's.

A basic set of J shaped hooks and screws to install. There is rubber but only on the bottom part and not on the small side, which makes contact with my kayaks. Good quality to the black powder coat and should work well.

Very sturdy, good included screws/plastic anchors.I'd like a little more area to be covered with the padding, but I'm a little overprotective of this boat since it's still new, in a couple years, I won't be as picky, foam is easy to add if you're like me.

Worked perfectly and the included screws are nice and thick. Once mounted they have no issues holding the weight of the kayak and it fits great. Easy to lift and mount the kayak. Good price compared to other brands.

A great mount for the kayak in the garage to get it out of the way and have plenty of other room for things in the garage. This will easily hold the wait of the boat! I am very impressed by the solid feel. The padding is a plus as this assures it won't scratch up the boat. Great purchase!
