These tree watering bags have saved our trees needing additional water due to the extreme heat this summer where we have had several days/weeks over 100°. Although initially we did notice that there was a couple of the bags that did not drain when we used them and had to put some small nail holes near the bottom once the bags had filled up and they worked perfectly after that. I would certainly recommend them otherwise since they are sturdy and get the job done!

I have never used these before but they are great. heavy plastic sturdy holds water and releases at a good rate. Easy to install around your trees and to fill as needed.

This bag is better than most and meet all specs required for a tree with a 3" or smaller trunk. If the tree has branches on the lower 36" of the trunk this bag will be too tall. UPDATE... The first bag worked good. The second one won't release water. Yes I can take a pin to it but I'm lowering my rating to 2 stars

These generic green bags for watering trees work just fine. I bought the three pack and it’s a good value. I’m using them to slow water young trees I just planted. I’m also slow fertilizing them and the mature trees in my yard. It’s worked out pretty well!

I have two of these bags for my two small trees in my backyard as I planted them after our house was built and don’t have a soaker hose from our sprinkler system attached to them. This is a very basic idea that is very useful. Very easy to use and very helpful for when you want to add some extra tree vitamins into the water. The only knock on this is that sometimes the water doesn’t drip out as great as it should due to the shifting weight of the bag as it empties. All you have to do is reposition it a little to get the weight off of the drip holes which is easy for me but for those a little older it may be difficult it the bag is even half full. That is the reason I give it 4/5 stars

These bags are a life saver when you have a young trees! We are using these on three young Oak Trees. I love that I fill up the bag with water and the tree is watered over a course of time.I bought these originally because I went out of town and my husband forgot to water the trees and I came back and one was dying. These helped me bring my tree back to life and since then are great when it gets super hot outside (Southeast Texas) to ensure they are receiving the proper amount of water. These will not collect rain water. They are not easy to drain once you remove from around the tree, you need to air them out and hang them upside down for several hours to drain them before storing them away.Easy to clean the outside of the bags.Great if you do not have a sprinkler system or one that concentrates on trees.

I just started using these so all I can say at this point is they look fine and seemed to work. I'm concerned how the hold up during winter. The concept is great. They seem kind of expensive for plastic tarp material but it's good insurance for my trees.
