Nice and sturdy BUT they sent me the one with the black rim instead of the gold one. I REALLY wanted the gold one.

Let's just say I enjoy playing my tambourine when at church. Not to mention, It's also a nice-looking tambourine. Thinking of purchasing another one to keep in the car as a travel one.

The first day I used this 8" praying hands tambourine for church the nails that hold the jingles in came out. I was not beating it hard. Next thing I see, there are jingles flying everywhere. I gathered them up and put the nails and jingles back and placed tape over all the nail holes so nails/jingle won't come out again. I do not recommend this for church players, especially if you attend a sanctified church that praises the Lord, as it cannot stand the spiritual beating. Nevertheless, if you need something on the cheaper side, buy it and put gorilla glue over the nail holes plus tape to keep the nail and jingles in.
