Bought this to replace a worn out pair that is at the shop I work in. I work on excavators and skid steers, there are many of the larger pinch style clamps on very hard to reach places. Impossible with a pair of pliers sometimes. These let you access those clamps from the side without much clearance and then pinch the clamp remotely. They save me lots of frustration and time on most of those clamps. They return to open when the latch is unlocked. They seem sturdy and I'm happy for the price I paid for them. I would buy these again.

This is a really great tool for releasing those hard to get to clamps then holds it open while you relocate it. If it broke today I would order another. Handiest tool I have bought in a long time

Great tool!!! However the lock lever is not very sturdy and doesn't work properly. I bought the blue point version of this tool and it had the same issue.

Decent product the only reason it's 3 stars is the cable is half the size of the others I own,wich will limit it's uses,construction seems pretty decent for the price
