This is a fun 10.6-inch-tall programmable remote-control robot, that also responds to hand gestures. The programming is kind of complicated at first, but my nephew figured it out pretty quickly. The rechargeable battery is included.

This Smart Robot is so much fun! We charged him up, pressed the on button and our kids haven't stopped laughing!! It's so realistic with a clear voice and many commands that are done automatically such as singing or dancing. Best of all is the transmitter that can be used for so many directions. The adults and children alike love this guy!!

The Good:* Charges quickly (full charge in about an hour).* Lasts about 30 minutes on a charge* Relatively reactive when the remote connects* Not too loud* Good as a little RC powered robot to go places (in a straight line).The Bad:* You have to be right in front of the robot for the IR sensor to work.* Limited songs and talking interaction (when it gets going it's hard to stop, so tends to fall over quite a bit).* Some of the phrases are a bit questionable.* Tends to overcompensate and moves a bit too much.Overall:* This is a good little device for a 6 year old (its too complicated for younger kids, and too plain for older kids).

This amazing little remote robot is a fun toy that is easy to setup and start having fun with right away! It has a realistic, clear voice and commands such as singing, dancing and it responds to hand gestures, making it interactive & entertaining for kids and adults. The robot is durable and the construction so far is withstanding so rough treatment and a few altercations with the dog!It lasts for hours of play on the battery charge. It's a great value with advanced functionality for an affordable price. Excellent gift

So for the price, and that its a simply made little robot toy, I would say this is a good deal! Good for kids but you need to be directly in front of it to use the remote. Compared to the other expensive robots, it works well and does a decent amount for the lower price cost. A good value!

I got this toy astronaut robot for my nephew's 12th birthday. He was so excited when he opened the box, he couldn't wait to play with it! It was pretty easy for him to learn how to use the remote and its functions. He has so much fun with it, he plays with it for hours at a time!The robot is just over 10" tall and has LED lights on the face. The robot comes with a remote that you can program up to 60 actions. It will respond to hand gestures of forward, backward, turn left, and turn right, within 3" away. There are actions that can be sliding or walking, and dancing. It also has music and sound, as well as volume settings. The robot functions very well with the large amount and variety of settings. And it charges quickly, within 1.5 hours.The robot is aimed for children aged 6 years -12 years old, though I believe some kids a year or two younger, as well as kids over 12 years old would also have lots of fun playing with it. It is built very well, and looks to be very durable, to withstand the test of heavy play and time. My nephew also plays with his four year old brother. Younger brother has a bit of difficulty with the remote, but has a lot of fun too.For the large range of functions, and the durability of this toy robot, it is priced to make this an extremely good value.
