The included brackets ("clasps" in the manual) appear to be for a different ladder. They are welded at a 45 degree angle instead of 90, and their bolt hole spacing is radically different from the ladder they came with. Additionally, both welds on those brackets are sub-par. I easily broke one with my bare hands. Not something I could trust to support my weight.Unfortunately, I was delayed in installing this and the return window has ended. There is no support to provide the correct brackets, so I am faced with either throwing it away or having custom brackets fabricated.

The brackets were the wrong size and the weld that held the bracket support was poor and failed.

Mounting bracket isn’t 90 degree like it should be. Don’t buy waste of time and money.
