If you attach these to 16" on Center Studs, you would want to have 3 brackets per shelf, but they only provide 2 brackets per shelf. With 2 brackets, at 16", there is too much overhang and the ends of the shelf bend down if there's a lot of weight on them. Otherwise they seem to be well constructed - I find that the grid catches on things - putting a thin shelf liner on top helped a lot.

I thought these would hook together and be able to make one long continuous shelf. That was my mistake. I have two more to put up and I’ll have to have a space between them. I wish the ties were longer and thicker. I had some that worked better than the ones supplied. Next time I’ll do a little more research. I will say they are indeed heavy duty.

See other review on 4/21/24. That was one problem. Spent hours prepping and getting this up. Wasted my time and energy to fnd out in the end its a manufacturing issue. Bolt heads broke off with manual wrenching. Not to mention all the work and lifting caused wrist sprain. So not happy. This caused me to rethink ordering anytghing from Amazon anymore. Back to instore shopping.

These shelves are definitely heavy duty and well made. Easy to install and I have no doubt that they will support the poundage that is advertised. Nice coating on them, smooth, consistent finish. They look great! Great value

These shelves are a great size for storage. The wall Anchors are complete junk if your not attaching to a stud. Don't even waste your time. The directions are for 19" on center and I installed 16 on center to stay on studs. Seem very durable.

It comes with metric screws (M8), which are uncommon in the US, and you may not have the right drill bit or hex nut driver. Installed in a brick wall, like another reviewer some screws would not go all the way in with the drill, but using manual torque with a monkey wrench works. Aim for the bottom and top of bricks where they're thicker, in the middle of the brick the screw might not hold. This was ok for me since i'm not planning on using the full weight capacity.

The Good... The shelves and brackets are heavy. The Bad... 1) If you don't find a stud, the mollies they give you are useless. The bolt will just keep turning and never secure the bracket. 2) The placement of the top hole on the brackets is too close to the side frame, making it impossible/difficult to turn a socket or wrench. 3) The shelf grates do not line-up properly in the slots...to remedy this, they give you cheap zip-ties to secure them. 4) They don't even give you enough cheap zip-ties to hold down the shelves that don't fit properly. Save yourself aggravation and look elsewhere.
