This 4-pack of 423142-7 sponge rubber pads did fit my Makita BO4552 finishing sander. All of the holes did line up and matched the pattern on the sander, even though the pad is just slightly smaller by about 1mm around the perimeter from the original pad. The four screw holes on this pad are the same size as the other holes on the pad; whereas one will notice that the four screw holes on the sander are slightly larger holes, but this did not cause me an issue really.I did have to make sure to completely remove the old pad and make sure the surface was clean before applying the new pad. This is a little tedious but has to be done. The adhesive on the new pad worked well, although I did give it some time to completely set after installing before first use. I am happy with the performance with the new pad and being able to put this sander back into proper use.
