I bought this thinking I could repair my Amazon tablet, but failed in my attempts to open the unit after watching multiple YT videos. I took it to one shop to open the unit for me and they refused to try. I went to another repair shop that made a valiant effort to open the Fire tablet but the display broke. It seems the glue that is used makes opening the case neaxt to impossible. Don't even try to replace a battery in an Amazon tablet. They were built to be very durable, but not to be repaired.
