Picture is deceiving. I wouldn't normally mind the extra work of wiring the connector, but I don't have time right now and was expecting it to be ready to use as the picture shows. This was not ready to use. I'll have to return and get one that is. They didn't even include the necessary connectors to get it wired so you'll have to buy those as well.

The battery has good power output and is not as heavy a a lead acid battery.

I tested this battery and it holds 14+ AH vs the rated 12 AH at a 10A load, which is amazing. I got it to put in my son's little electric jeep for toddlers and it worked much better than the 7A lifepo4 battery I originally tried. That is most likely due to the 7A's BMS cutting off from time to time. This one doesn't have that problem. All in all, very dope battery.

My toddlers quad says charged for hours and works with the pegprego charger. This was worth the buy. Probably stays charged longer than the name brand!!

An interesting combination. I purchased this for the battery, not as a replacement for a Peg Perego, but I have safety concerns about the design. The description lists the battery as having a 20 amp battery management system (BMS). Such devices should be neither charged nor discharged with higher currents. The cable provided has wires of 12 AWG which can safely carry the 20 amps the battery should provide. These wires can normally carry up to 30 amps safely. When providing fuses to protect circuits, the principal rule is to prevent fires. Generally, that means protecting the wires from getting hot because they are carrying too much current. This battery includes three fuses - one in the holder and two spares - of 40 amps, double the current the battery can safely provide or be charged with, and 33% over the rated current carrying capacity of the wires. Although LiFePO4 batteries are one of the safest lithium battery chemistries and far less likely to catch fire from overheating than LiIon or Lithium-Cobalt chemistries, they should be protected at the rated current - in this case, 20A.As I said, I purchased this for the battery. In my case, I've replaced the included end connector with Anderson PowerPoles for use with amateur radio. The fuses are standard automotive blade fuses and easy to replace. Many such devices are easily powered by the 20A current compatible with the BMS. I choose to replace the fuses with 20A versions to protect the battery. For those needing slightly more surge current, fusing at 30A would be appropriate to protect the included wires. Ignoring the battery design and focusing on just the wires, they could be replaced with larger 10 AWG to use with 40A fuses. In my opinion, one should be cautious if using this battery with the included cable and fuses.
