Been using these carbon filters for our non vented hood fan for years. First, they are easily replaced. Secondly, they do help deodorize the "scents" from cooking on the stove. It is not like a vented hood van but it definitely eliminates 75% of most. The only time we have an issue is if you do a lot of deep frying, then we prop a window. These are dark, but really does not bother us. Will continue to purchase.

It fits and is reasonably priced. Not even Sears has the correct part. Don’t order from Sears parts — it took many calls to get a person on the phone

They are not as good as OEM parts. Very thin and light weight. Almost to small to fit. I barely got them to fit with the old clips.
