I was worried about going too cheap with replacing parts on my pit boss. But I was not disappointed. It worked exactly as it should and is thick and heavy duty. Would buy again. But I think next time I'll do the stainless the ceramic coating cracked around the screw holes but didn't really hurt anything.

I have replaced two fire pots on my pit boss. The stock pots are cheap bare metal. This firepot looks more quality and it definitely beefier. I also had an issue with my old ignitor that would trip the circuit breaker. The ignitor with this kit has yet to do that. Love it.

Had to replace another hot rod, so why not replace the firepot as well? This porcelain enamel coated one is a definite upgrade....grill maintains even temp better and will likely last much longer!

I wish the original part was built like this one! Everything fit exactly. Heavy duty construction that I expect will last longer than the original.

It worked perfectly in my pitboss smoker. It was easy to install and is better than the one that came with the smoker. Heavy duty.

I bought the two parts together, so there would be no issues. Shockingly, I removed the set screw, and tried to slide the hot rod into the tube. It slid about a half inch, and no further. Perhaps they used too thick of enamel? Who knows? Very frustrating to have to return this, and purchase a different brand.
