brings a modern look to the car, however i did need to modify the front splitter for cooling. as it drops down below the air damn. the vents that it comes with don’t work because that’s where the front subframe rails end up going.

I want to start off by saying I love this kit. The end results changed the whole look of the car and took 10 years off of it’s actual age. But I want to write this review being as transparent as possible so other potential buyers understand that this kit comes with some caveats.I want to start with the instillation process. The front splitter was fine. I started with nothing the back portion of the splitter using the factory hardware abs securing that this allowing the splitter to hang securely as I line up the double sided tape and eventually the self tapping stews for the forward portion of the splitter. And yes. You will be putting holes in the bumper but they will not be visible of you ever decide to remove it.The side skirts are a different story. The provided hardware is good. But they didn’t account for the fact that most of the rocker panel below the door is hard plaster fiberglass. Drilling into it with self tapping screws basically turns the fiberglass to powder. I got most of the hardware to secure tightly but some screws are missing because I “stripped” out the hole I made and the stew wouldn’t hold. I plan to go back on a day off and revisit this by properly drilling small holes and using rivets to secure then because I’m worried that more screws will become loose or fall out over time and end up in my rear tires. Probably won’t but I’m not trying to play those odds.Finally, many have reported with “other” front lips and that cooling becomes abs issue because these cars are bottom feeders for air into the radiator. The claims are that front lips and splitters allow less airflow and can block the air going into the air tunnel where air flows into the radiator. I figured this kit might prevent that issue because the were smart and make the two ZR style inlet ports on this piece Channel straight into the air tunnel. I was wrong. Upon installing I realized that the 2 cutouts also exist because they had to accommodate for the 2 metal bards that come down from below the bumper that are the lower part of the radiator support. And those bars block a large portion of where those channel direct the air to. So it’s basically only partially functional. With that said. The problem isn’t “that bad” I’ve seen about 10-15 degree temp rises. My car currently has a 160 degree thermo, a recently new water pump and cooling system service, as well as my car is loaded and this seals pretty tight to the road) and idle at 180-185. Currently I’m cruising at approximately 195-200 and idling about 210. Still well below dangerous levels but for someone who may still have the factory thermostat or a weaker cooling system that needs service. You might have issues. So just be aware abs keep an eye on your temps for a few days after you finish your install. Anything maintained under 220 is safe.Beyond those points, I’m super happy with the end results. The kit is quality made for the cost it is. I elected for the preprinted gloss black which wasn’t super high quality paint job but it’s still shines nice and looks factory and that’s all I wanted. I knew I wanted getting super high end quality. But for the price I was still impressed with the pieces presented. I highly recommend for any C5 owner looking for an updated look!

Very cheap material. They also sent me a scratched chewed one. After that I asked for a refund. Still haven't given it. The material is cheap and they also took down my review.
