So, the case for my original FOB fell completely apart but fortunately all the electronics inside were fine. Ordered this and put it all back together. As good as original! Next, as my F150 was a side cut, I needed a locksmith to duplicate my key on to the blank received. Unfortunately, there is no way to put your old key into a new case as the key is built right into the assembly. Some of the negative reviews were because it is a blank case - For those in that position understand you need full electronics AND a programmer AND to get your key cut to match.

Works great in my 2013 F-150. Followed the instructions and was able to get it setup for my truck. I did have to tell the person at Home Depot what to do because he didn't want to try cutting it. In the end he did what I said and everything turned out great.

Product is as advertised. I took the original electronics out of my cracked OEM key fob case and placed them into this perfectly.Note that you cannot take key from the original and replace the blank key in this product as the blank key is sealed in place. Take it to a local locksmith or hardware store to get the blank key cut from your original.

Replacement key shell for Lincoln Navigator work as good as factory original. The most complicated part of replacement operation was removing the electronics for broken key fob.

I had a key FOB case break. I was expecting to just switch the casing and be done. Not the case with this. This one requires you to have the key cut first. The quality is nice but not what i thought I was ordering.
