Each of the two probes I ordered reads 0.0 def F in the Daniel Boone Green Mountain Grill. It seems the return window just closed two days ago as well. Either they are just incompatible, or totally inoperative. What a waste!

These did not work with my GMG Jim Bowie, they just read -18⁰ regardless of temperature, will try the returns pathway and see how I go

A lot of reviews said they had trouble with theirs. Mine is working fine for my Daniel Boone. I'll update this review if it has issues soon.

Unfortunately have received probes that are not the same as the Amazon listing, and they are not compatible with Pit Boss or other units.The probes received have a 3 pin 3.5mm jack and read NOP (not operating) on the temperature readout.Compatible ones should be a 2 pin 3.5mm jack, and the matching range sensor in the probe.Returning for refund or replacement.Will update if correct replacements are shipped.

Bought to add a 2nd probe to PittBoss pellet grill. Works well. Looks and feels okay, decent quality/fit and finish but feels every so slightly less robust than the factory PittBoss probe. Not much, probably will not affect function. Seems to be right-on with temp of factory probe that came with grill. Have used on between 1/2 dozen and dozen grill sessions and holding up fine, no problems, no complaints. Would def buy again if needed (so long as it doesn't break soon!) and rec this over namebrands for the much lower price. Seems a very good value so far.
