I bought 3 of these valves. I normally don't do reviews, but this product was totally unusable and felt I should warn others. I'd give a zero rating if it were possible. Tried cementing a valve onto a standard 1-1/2 in PVC pipe and it wouldn't fit. Thought maybe I was pushing the pipe into the valve socket crooked. However, when I tried "dry" fitting a second valve on another pipe without cement, it also wouldn't slide into the socket at all. It appears that the valve sockets are just too narrow and don't meet specs for 1-1/2 inch socket. Had to return for refund. Very disappointed since these valves cost less than actual Hayward product. So now I'm buying a true Hayward part.
