(These do not work with Chilton / Sears Craftsman cans).
The Screw collar will fits Blitz Brand Plastic cans, but you may need to cut off the eyelet holes on side of cap

Yellow Vent Caps with RETAINING LIP to prevent from popping out of your can. Easy to install,drill required.Start with an empty can, Drill 1/2" hole at the back of your plastic can above the fill line, insert vent cap and pop it in gently with a rubber mallet.We suggest you drill a smaller hole to start with and work your way up to the 1/2" drill bit. Be sure to drill a straight clean hole don't swagger side to side with the bit so you won't make a bigger hole than you need.

First of all, the flex spout seems pretty flimsy but worked the 1 time I used it. The real problem is the gaskets that go on the base of the spout and seals the spout to the can. Once it is exposed to gasoline, it melts and falls apart rendering the spout unusable in a matter of hours. This is a fire hazard and should not be sold as is. I just ordered replacement gaskets to see if the spouts can be salvaged or if they are trash.

Omg - for years (until now) I have been spilling / leaking gas whenever I use my gas cans with the spring loaded fill spouts. And now - perfect. Especially love the easy process of installing the air vent.

These spouts work better than the safety spouts that came on the gas can. Would be better if they were longer. Spouts are a little too short.

The “fancy easy to use” spouts on new gas cans are a joke. They do not work and it takes three hands to lift the can and manipulate the spout. These are easy to install and fit perfectly. Great value and they make using the gas cans easy.I suggest using a step drill bit to install the vents. They make a clean round hole and don’t leave any plastic shaving in the can.Highly recommend

I have several gas cans that are years old. The cans themselves are functional, but most of my spouts are missing or broken. I was debating between buying a new can or 2 or ordering new spouts. In the reviews there were several that said these spouts did not fit thier cans which made me hesitant. I figured I would roll the dice and spend the price of buying one can on a chance that these spouts would work giving me 5 useable gas cans. I have a couple of different style 15 to 20 year old plastic gas cans and these fit them all.I wish the price was cheaper, but I'm happy with the results.
