The build quality is decent, but when you insert the basket inside, the main grill structure inside—the grid that holds all the other panels—just gets stuck and doesn’t fit where it should. So it turns out that the basket interferes with the proper operation of the grill. As a result, everything else starts to shift, and this frame, which holds the Kamado Joe ceramic panels inside, along with the ceramic heat deflectors and the grill grates, no longer stays in place. It begins to move back and forth because the grill basket slightly protrudes with its handles into this grid.

Fit my Kamado joe perfectly. Worked great and has held up to multiple cooks so far. Very strong basket and easy to sift out ashes and use remaining coals

This basket simplifies the cleanup process. As others have mentioned: simply lift and shake the basket after it cools. Separating usable fuel from ash quickly is very helpful.

This is by far better that the original coal plate, which I removed. This is in my opinion better that any of the big brand’s version of a coal basket.

Works good so much easier to clean my big green egg let it cool lift and shake and brush or vacuum bottom done put it back reload and go . You can also but coals on one side that work great for my rotisserie Joe that I bought for it now that another review.

Excellent, must have kamado accessory! Ensures proper airflow, complete burn of coal and allows for offset heat! Nice and sturdy, glad I got it!
