No fooling with remote codes, just add batteries

The remote did not work for us. We returned it, but have yet to receive a credit for it. Not happy with this purchase.

It will only turn my dvd/vcr combo on/off and will not access anything else. Since this remote is not returnable -- and I spent $20 for it -- I can't use it. Guess it goes to Goodwill.

the STEP SLOW (or fast forward/rewind) button works as a skip forward/ skip backward button; unless when the button is held down, in which case it then works as the fast forward/rewind (or STEP SLOW) button.the CLEAR EQ (or skip forward/skip backwards) just doesn't work with my dvd player.my dvd player is a SANYO vhs/dvd dual.

Worked as described. Have had this VCR for ever and my granddaughter wanted to watch some of my old movies but I could not find the remote. Could have used it without but now I can pause and rewind!

We lost our remote in a move and so I found this for a replacement. Brand/model number all match the description of what it works with. No programming needed. I loaded it with batteries and tested it. It functions without programming. However, not all the buttons work like they did on the original. Instead of pushing "select" in a menu, I have to push "play" to select it. I've learned the "quirks" and it functions and I can use the player without having to use the buttons on the machine. Murphy's Law being what it is, the old one was recently spotted in the house. I think I'll load batteries in it and keep this one as a back up.
