Better than re buying the entire basketball backboard/hoop. Easily slide out the old cracked one and replaced with this product.

There's a sticker on the backboard this fits which says 'No Dunking'. This is for a good reason Folks!

My son did a slam dunk on the old one and it had been on for 4 years so it was very brittle and broke clean off. Our bracket and net was still in good shape so it was fairly simple to replace it. One of the holes didn't line up but my husband had a drill and it was an easy fix. If you don't have a drill it would be more complex. Very glad that it worked out for us and it was a lot cheeper than buying a whole new set up.

This is our second replacement rim in 15 years! Not bad. It is plastic, but very heavy duty. They do eventually break from our hot humid FL weather. My husband plays basketball every time he gets in the pool (which is a lot). The Poolmaster Rebounder Basketball stand IS 15 years old and still going strong! It only takes him about 10 minutes to change the rim when needed. So our cost is only about $3 a year for him to have fun! The nets last 2-3 years at the most and have to be changed too (I've reviewed those too), but a small price to pay for a basketball pool game that's lasted so long. We will buy the same Rebounder again when we need to, but it seems like it's going to last forever!I review many of the products we buy online. I only rate items 5 stars if I would pay full price for it. I do give 1 star (since you can't give 0) to items which are so bad that I return for a refund, throw away or wouldn't want even if free. I try to mention all the pros and cons of products, because I check reviews often for the hundreds of items I buy online.
