These are far less expensive than brand-name half darkslides and they do the same thing. When you insert the half-frame darkslide, be sure that it’s flush against the edge of the film holder so that your two exposures are separated properly when you develop your film (you can kind of wiggle it as you’re sliding it in and find the edge). Also, these get static-charged and attract dust so you may want to run it between two fingers to get the dust off before inserting into your film holder.
