Overall poor quality, the frame arrived bent on both ends. However, the handle (the weak part on the OEM handle) is metal, as advertised. Do yourself a favor though and just swap the metal handle part over to the OEM frame. Should last longer than the car.

Fit exactly as described. Works fine. Return spring is a little weaker on the handle, but does not affect function of the latch. Works better than I expected.

It seemed to be of comparable quality of the OEM part that failed after a particularly hard tug after 10 years of use. My Tundra is 2011 and I had accidentally closed a blanket edge in the tailgate which put it in a bind and I gave a mighty tug and broke the latch smooth off. This part was very easy to install. All you do is remove the access panel on the inside/back of the tailgate and you have easy access to the latch. Because I had previously installed a aftermarket back up camera I had to redrill my hole for the camera but no biggie. Also since I had it all opened up I lubricated the mechanisms where the gate actually latches to the truck with some spray lubricant. This was a 30min job with all the extra stuff I did and my gate worked probably better than it had since day one. Don't put up with a broken tailgate latch... get this part it's well worth it!

The handle itself went on easily no issues. It feels heavy and not cheaply made. The trouble I had was putting on the bezel. The tabs on the top of the bezel both snapped off during install. Not it is unclear whether that was the result of a defect or incorrect approach on my part and honestly I will admit it was probably the latter. What led me to still give five stars was the customer service I received. I foLowe’s the instruction in the package to text with issues. I received a robo response but was contacted within 24 hours by a real person. After exchanging a picture and the order information a complete new set was sent out no other questions asked. With customer service like that I was impressed and would buy from these people again with confidence. The product continues to look good and work well.

For less than 1/2 price of a NAPA version (nevermind OEM), this seems like a good option. I does seem more "lightweight" than the OEM, but if things stay lubed, shouldn't be a big deal. Easy to replace if needed. I did have to file the rust off the ends of the rods to get them into the clips. Like one review noted, they aren't as well designed or robust as other replacement clips (and OEM) that you can buy. Had no trouble with the bezel fit, quality or installation. Would buy again. 4 stars for the clip design and lightweight.

Lo utilizamos en una Tundra y quedo perfectamente. Es una instalación que fácilmente (si te gusta un poco la mecánica y los autos) podrás hacerlo por ti mismo. Se reutiliza la llave que tienes instalada actualmente. En la caja viene un contacto para llamar en caso de tener problemas o dudas al momento de instalar. No se lleva las 5 estrellas solamente por al momento de instalarlo se tiene que jalar un poco mas de un lado que del otro para abrir. De ahí en fuera todo excelente.
