It does the job well. The 'fill' may take longer than the pricey compressor from the manufacturer, however does it well.The % of fill comfort [example 50%] may not be exactly what your original reading/comfort was, not far off. If possible add a mold disinfectant into the tubing as it fills to keep mold at a minimum inside the bladder[s].

We have owned our Sleep Number bed for ~ 20 years. In that period we have replaced the pump/remotes once. For the last several years our wired remotes have ceased to display the bed's settings; resulting in a lot of guess work. After reading the reviews, we decided to purchase the REM Air System replacement pump with its wireless remotes. Thanks to another Amazon reviewer we were made aware of the fact that "left" and "right" are from ones lying position (NOT looking at the bed from the foot end). Installation was fairly straight forward. Using a serrated knife, simply cut the supply hoses at the old pump's end (try to make the cut 'square'). Attach the included hose connectors and 'clip' onto the new REM pump. You are now done (you will have to add 3 AAA batteries to each remote). Three of our connectors attached to the pump with no problems (be sure to do a hard 'tug' on the hose to make sure it is securely seated). The fourth connector would not properly attach. I checked both the male receiving connection on the pump and the female connector for a 'problem'. Finding none, I placed the female connector (with no hose) on the pump, and while holding down the gray tab, tapped the male connector with a small rubber mallet (it helps to put on the hose securing collar a few turns as to not damage the main body of the male connector). It attached securely. We filled the bed, one side at a time, allowing a 15-minute 'rest period' between fillings. Voila, we now have readable remotes and a ecstatic. We highly recommend this product.

For anyone left high and dry by the abrupt bankruptcy and closure of the ReST Performance Bed company, this may be the solution you need if your pumps and/or app do not work. This pump works brilliantly with our ReST mattress air chambers, and the remotes work far better than the ReST app ever did. By using this pump you will lose the ability of the bed’s sensors to change the air in the chambers as you change positions, and you won’t have other capabilities (such as the NightVision sleep monitor). But if you mainly just need to adjust the firmness of your mattress in its 5 sections, this works well. The pump tubes fit the ReST mattress air chamber tubes straight out of the box. Just push hard until you hear a click, and you are good to go. We were nearly to a point that we were going to throw out our very expensive ReST Bed. Fortunately, this pump saved us from having to buy a new mattress.

My Sleep Number air pump failed years ago on one side of our queen size bed. I tried to repair it, but impossible. A replacement from Sleep Number was nearly 400 bucks. I found this pump on Amazon...a very good purchase. Installation was easy and quick. The pump includes 2 Bluetooth remotes that work well with the pump. Pump is very quiet and inflates the bed in moments. One negative note..the printed Installation Instructions could be improved. After several months of use, I am well pleased with this purchase and recommend it anyone with a Sleep Number bed. Excellent value for under $300. Good tech support, too.After several months of use, pump is still going strong. I think this has been one of the most useful purchases I've made on Amazon, or anywhere.

The air pump for our old Select Comfort sleep number bed failed quite a while ago but was holding air, so we were in no rush to replace it. Due to installation of new floors on our second floor, we had to dismantle and move the bed. Hired movers to move all furniture on second floor out to our garage during the project. Due to what has become the new normal supply chain issues, the project took over a month. So when time came to put it back together, we knew knew we needed to deal with the bed air pump.We ordered the Silverfish four-outlet pump.There were some shipping difficulties with Amazon, and the device came a few days later than originally promised. It arrived on a Sunday. The package was intact. No visible damage to box, or any of the components.I read the instructions and watched the video for installation. Hose connections were easy. Remote controls came on when batteries installed, but shows ER. I understand that is due to no wireless communication with the compressor unit. Power light on compressor unit DID NOT come on when plugged in. I tried multiple outlets, no success.So I contacted Amazon who immediately wanted me to return and replace or obtain a refund. I would rather try to trouble shoot this further. So I initiated communication with Silverfish directly. Being a Sunday, I don't expect any reply until Monday. But surprise, the email must go to their customer service person's mobile device. A quick reply from Silverfish via email and then phone. He talked me through the installation and we agreed that the power supply was defective. They over-nighted a new power supply. Arrived today (Tuesday).Re-did installation according to their instructions and all worked perfectly.I really appreciate the excellent customer service (on a weekend) from Silverfish. The power supply was from another supplier, not their own product. Once the working power supply was attached, their product worked perfectly. This kind of service is not something I see frequently. I will happily recommend Silverfish to anyone needing accessories to a sleep number bed.Scott Anderson8/23/22
