Our original plug had a grounding prong, and can' seem to find out if there has been a change in the design.

We have a Butterball Turkey Fryer that we use every Thanksgiving to fry a turkey, and we also use it to fry other food throughout the year as well. Our original plug got a little surface rust on it, and stopped powering the fryer, and also seemed to lose it's magnetism. I tried cleaning it, but it still didn't work. I wasn't sure if our fryer element went bad. So I got this plug as a replacement and it heated right up. Thanksgiving 2025 saved! This cord is not a 3-prong cord, so hopefully it doesn't keep tripping the breaker. but it seemed to work fine in the several minutes that I had it plugged in. Considering the cost of having to buy a new fryer, the price for this cord was reasonable.
