This caregiver paging system consists of a pendant that you wear around your neck and a base unit that connects to your Wi-Fi network. When the button on the pendant is pressed it will activate the base unit that will send a message to your cell phone thru an app alerting you that you are needed. As long as your phone is connected to the internet, either thru a wireless network or thru your cell phone provider you will be notified. You can add up to 24 pendants - when you first purchase the system there is one included but for a few dollars more it includes two. This is a good low cost alternative to a service that requires a monthly fee.

This is a medical alert button that you can press to let a caregiver or relative know that you need assistance. It is a good option for the elderly and disabled people. It comes with the alert button and a base station, and can connect to a mobile app. (You can receive alerts on the app even if you are in a different city.)The base station is plugged into the wall for power, but can also run off of a battery in case of power failure. The base station can be up to 300 feet from the alert button, so this can provide coverage for most homes. The base station will sound audible alerts at five volume levels, plus colored lights. The typical use case will involve paging a local caregiver. Sending an alert to remote family members is also a good option. The main problem is the alert button doesn't have a built-in fall sensor. If you fall on top of it, you might not be able to press the button. But, that's a problem with most similar alert buttons. There is no monthly fee.Good value for the money.
