I have several Retevis RT85 radios. The standard batteries are about 1500mAh in size, so these batteries have more than double capacity.I am very happy with them. The only way they could be better is if they had a USB-C charging port

The battery would not lock onto a UV-13 pro. I found that if I cut two small pieces of plastic on either side of the battery slot it would lock with no problem, the other thing is there is no usb -c charging like the original battery had.

Failure rate is unacceptable. Of the 4 batteries 3 are dead and wont take a charge. The original smaller batteries still work fine and are older.... these use 18650 cells on the inside and they just dont seem to be good quality and fail. The batteries that come on the rt85 don't make it a whole day. So i ordered 4 of these and now the radios last 24hrs no problem. These are the batteries they radios should come with stock. They do add substantial weight and bulk but I actually prefer that to the original batteries. Final note they do fit the original chargers no problem. The only thing i don't like is that a pair of these cost almost as much as another radio.

I purchased this two-pack of batteries for a little less than I paid for one such battery a few months ago from another source. These are identical high-capacity batteries that work on the TYT-UV88 and Retevis RT85 dual-band ham radios, and with a slight modification to the slot where the latch connects, they also work on Radioddity GM-30, Pofung P15UV, and Tidradio TD-H5 GMRS radios. These batteries don't come with belt clips, so those must be purchased separately if you want to have them. I used belt clips from the Baofeng GT-3 series as I prefer them to other viable options, which also include UV-5R belt clips. UV-82 series belt clips do not work as the screw holes are spaced differently.All-in-all, this was a great value at around $21-22 for the pair. I've seen them for less than $20 recently, which is a fantastic price, and is less than what I've seen two standard-capacity batteries selling for.To accommodate the extra capacity, these batteries are a little thicker than the standard-capacity battery, but they still work in my drop-in charger without any issues. These batteries are not USB-C chargable like the ones that come with the GMRS radios mentioned above. A drop-in charger is required to charge these batteries, but the TYT-UV88 and Retevis RT85 radios come with suitable drop-in chargers, so I didn't need to buy one separately.

These batteries work great. They are considerably larger and heavier than the stock battery that comes with the RT85, but the battery life is great under heavy use and with the added size, the radio stands up much better than with the original slimmer battery. It no longer topples over. The battery will fit the Tidradio TD-H5 and Pofung P15UV, and will most likely fit the variants of these radios. The one thing you have to do though is clip the two tabs on the bottom of the battery so they latch to the radios, otherwise they will slip off. This is because the RT85 uses two small clips on the sides to attach the battery whereas the other radios use one large and wide clip in the middle to keep the battery in place. These batteries are not USB-C chargeable so you must use a charging cradle.
