These buckles work great for my quick release lanyards. They are sturdy and lock in place very secure. I will repurchase when I need to increase my inventory.

I ordered these to make dog collars as they were one of the VERY few options in this width I could find that were single-adjustable and slightly contoured. Out of 30 sets, only 24 of them were usable as so many of them had scuffs on them that won’t buff out. One of them was cracked as well (see photo). My guess is that the culprit of this is the packaging—they were packed so tightly together that I imagine it caused them to scratch against each other during handling. Regardless, for the price, having 24 usable clips is still pretty good, and the clips do seem like they’re good quality, and they are as-described. I will probably order them again since options are so slim, but if I could find the same types of buckles (1.5”, single-adjustable, not flat) elsewhere, I would opt for those and probably pay a little more for them. If cosmetic appearance is unimportant to you, these buckles would be perfect.

These buckles do not seem to be heavy duty. They are normal buckles. I needed heavy duty buckles. I ordered these because I previously ordered the 32mm heavy duty buckle measurement converted to inches should be close to 1.25 inch which I need, they measured measured 1.5 inches. So, I thinking it was because they are heavy duty they measure larger, so I ordered the size smaller 25mm, received the 25mm(1 inch) buckles , they are not heavy duty, but do measure 1 inch. That is why I am giving these buckles 3 stars. Product arrived on time.

At another location I bought this side release buckle and I could not squeeze it open for the life of me. I was so happy when these arrived. They are easy to open and sturdy. Great price

My wife recently started wearing hearing aids and was given a clip a little larger than these to hold the ear bands on a face mask at the back of the neck. She looked at buying another clip and found it ridiculously expensive, a victim of predatory pricing. She found these smaller clips and decided to give them a try. They work well. She uses a rubber band to extend the ear bands but has no problem working the clip to put the mask on or take it off. No more worrying about sending the hearing aids flying when she takes her mask off.

I tried a few brands of buckles for my side business (making service dog vests), and they all seemed a bit too flimsy. This is my go to brand. I haven’t been let down by these buckles yet. They’re strong. They last. They’re sturdy. And they get the job done!
