Sturdy and well made pool retrieval hook. I use it to get the pool cleaner from the bottom of the pool and it fits perfectly in my pole. The lock pin has a sturdy spring but isnt too hard to press and can pull the full weight of the cleaner with ease

I recently broke my original retrieval hook and ordered this replacement. It's better than the original. First of all, it feels like it's made of a sturdier plastic and the shape of it seems to work better than the rounded kind at keeping my robot vac on the hook. I have two pool poles, one that came with my Intex cleaning kit and a universal one I bought later. They look the same, but this hook only fits one of them, presumably the universal one. Just something to be aware of if you have an Intex pole.

I was having a hard time retrieving my pool robot using the normal curved plastic hook. It was very difficult to get the hook onto the handle due to the shape of the hook. This hook is thinner & has a little bit longer hook length to hold onto the robot handle. Even though the hook is thinner, it's very strong & it definitely makes retrieval far easier. This hook fits on a standard pool pole. I am really pleased with this product & would recommend it to others.

This hook is made out of stronger material than most. I use it to retrieve our automatic cleaner and to move around the pool cover water pump as needed. Helps me get the pump further out towards the middle of the pool. I am happy with the purchase, and it came pretty fast as well.

I recently got a robotic pool cleaner, and a robotic pool skimmer. Both need to be retrieved when I'm ready to remove them from the pool. I have a hook for these retrievals, that's shaped essentially like a question mark; a very rounded hook. I felt like it was difficult to maneuver that rounded hook into position to grab the robots. I had to approach it from very specific angles to get the robots hooked. THIS hook, with its more open face, seemed like it might do a better job. I was hoping this hook would give me greater flexibility in the approach angles I have to use to hook the robots. But alas, I think it's basically the same, with perhaps some slight improvement. But that said, this hook functions exactly as it should. It's lightweight, and stays securely in the pole that it's attached to. I'm able to retrieve my robots. And the approach angles I have to use are certainly no worse compared to my old hook, and possibly slightly better.

I recently got this retrieval hook for my robotic pool cleaner, and it attaches perfectly to my standard pool pole and makes pulling the robot out of the water easy. No more leaning over or having to get in the pool just to grab it.The hook itself is well-designed and feels sturdy and not flimsy. The curve is just right to easily catch the handle of the robot without scratching or causing any damage. It makes retrieving the cleaner, even from the deep end, much quicker and safer.Compared to older, more generic hooks I've used, this one is specifically shaped for robot cleaner handles and works much better. It's a simple tool, but it performs exactly as it should.

I am not exagerrating when I say this is easily the best robot hook on the market. I bought one of the circular black ones a couple of years ago and always felt it was very flimsy and would break eventually, but that was all that was available at the time.This hook is much better to an unbelievable degree. It is well-engineered and the sideways ridges give it incredible stability. The size and shape of the hook also make it much easier to catch the robot compared to circular hooks. This is going to make my life much easier. You need to buy this.
