This little dice storage box is made of resin and painted nicely. It has a locking latch on the front to keep the lid closed. It is an amusing box that holds dice but works well to store other small items as well. We have just remodeled a bathroom and decorated with an octopus theme and this fits in with the decor perfectly.

Got this for my fiance to hold her dice when we go to games and she loves it. Now she is always saying "release the kraken" when she pulls out her dice lol.The box itself looks great and has really nice details. Big enough to easily hold a full set of dice plus some.

The octopus design is wonderfully retro and eye-catching, making it stand out from typical dice storage. It feels sturdy and well-made, protecting dice effectively, and the brown finish gives it a nice, old-world charm. The exterior is highly detailed but the interior paint job feels fun but a bit lacking in comparison to the detail of the exterior. While it comfortably holds two standard sets of polyhedral dice, fitting chunkier sets might be a squeeze. It's truly a great piece for the gaming table, drawing compliments and adding to the thematic atmosphere of any RPG session. This box would make an excellent gift for any DM or player looking to add some flair to their collection.

I like the design of this dice box. The octopus is fun and cute, and the size and weight of the box are good.Unfortunately, quality is another matter. My box has a lot of disappointing blemishes that clearly aren't part of the design but rather, are QC issues. The pictures I've provided are only a sampling of the errors this box has, including missing color in places, cracks that were painted over, a misaligned lid that makes the latch very difficult to secure and release, and a missing screw in the lid.It's a shame, because this would've been a fantastic dice box to recommend and gift if it were done right. It isn't, though, so I recommend looking elsewhere.

I'm often reluctant to order resin items since I've been disappointed by most of them. This one is very well cast, which is much better than average. The paint job, while imperfect, is not bad either, leaving me very much satisfied with this dice box. In one of my campaigns, I play a swashbuckler and even have an octopus-themed dice set for him, so this is perfectly on theme. There's enough room in the chest that I think I could easily fit a second set of dice. I like the hardware, which is small but effective.The box this comes in is very well-padded and also gaming themed. It's emblazoned "MIMIC BOX" and it does leave me wondering if perhaps that is meant to be the case. Counting tentacles, the outside of the chest has nine, while the underside of the lid has five (which match up nicely with those protruding from the top of the lid). I suppose I can't put it past a mimic to present itself as an octopus-inhabited chest, and neither are they likely to be especially mindful of the proper number of tentacles. In any case, this is a fun item that I'm quite pleased with.

I ordered the brown octopus-design treasure chest. This is a great thematic little dice storage container (or as a container for other miscellaneous small items - jewelry, coins, keys, etc.) The chest comes in an illustrated box and was well protected with foam padding. Kudos to the manufacturer for what looks like foolproof packaging to prevent dings and dents in transit! The painting and details are not sloppy, and the double-locking latch is a nice touch to help make sure the chest doesn't flop open when you are transporting it. While you won't be able to store your entire dice collection in the small box, it would be a great little thematic container to use during a gaming session. I am glad to have added this attractive accessory to my game shelf!

This is a lot of fun. It makes a great little display piece with random shells we have collected from the beach.
