Generally, it’s a good machine. We’ve used it at several events and it hasn’t let us down. However, I do wish that the the drain were in a better place. You can never drain all the water out. If the drain were in a recessed or sunken area, this would keep the ice more dry and make cleanup easier.The quality of ice coming out varies wildly based on the ice you put in. Colder ice forced through firmly will give fine snow. Warmer/melty ice sent through gently will give you chunks too large to chew. Generally, we get something in between. Commercial ice seems to work better than refrigerator ice.
