My son plays travel baseball and we stay in a lot of hotels… we rarely have a freezer to freeze ice packs.Fill these in the morning from the ice machine and throw them in the cooler. They’ve done a great job in Phoenix heat. As the ice melts, I refill our water bottles. So far, they’ve been very durable for the price. Coming back to purchase more.

Highly recommend this item! I filled them with ice yesterday at about 10am. They stayed in my soft side cooler all day in the heat (82*F) then I left them in the cooler with the lid open inside my house overnight. There is still a bit of ice that has not yet melted. I have been drinking the water from the melt and it is nice and cold. It has been about 28 hours since I loaded them with ice so I am very impressed. I suspect that if I had the cooler lid closed it would last even longer. The bags did not leak, though they did condensate a little bit though not enough that it would ruin anything inside the cooler. I purchases the small size since my cooler is on the smallish side. The bags are easy to load with ice and to reseal. I opted out of using the ice scoop simply because it was quicker to load by hand. These function exactly as described.

These bags work great. I think the one is starting to leak through the drain handle now. I have been using the one bag in my lunch cooler all week every week and it has held up. This bag keeps my cooler cold. I do wish they had this bag without the drain but still able to fill with ice (I know they have one you can fill with water and that will not work for me). If I could get this bag without that drain it would be fantastic.

I travel for a living but am on a restrictive diet. These bags work so much better than cold packs because availability of hotel freezers is so iffy and chemical cold packs can't be refrozen in a refrigerator whereas all hotels have ice machines. The smaller size bag fits in the top of my Luggage Works cooler (although it is too big to stack vertically). A load of ice will keep things cold all day. The water is easily drained off and new ice added. In the single trip I used it, I experienced no leaks. The larger bag (which I returned) is simply too big for the cooler. I highly recommend the smaller bag. It only looses a star for being too big to stack vertically.

We bought two of the ice bags prior to our spring break trip and for the most part we were pleased. It was great to be able to fill them with ice, use them in the cooler then have water for later. On our way home somehow one of the ice bags got a small hole in the bottom and all the water leaked. We were surprised since it seems to be pretty durable plastic and we didn’t have any utensils or sharp items in the cooler that could poke a hole in it. The other one is still good and we feel like we would buy more, but would try to be more cautious with them.
