We recently renovated and I’ve spent the last few months gathering & neatly bundling every single wire in our home. This was the 6th batch of magnetic zip ties I’ve purchased. I had not gotten this brand before (trying to save a few $, mistake!) These are horrible compared to the others I’ve gotten. Shorter, with almost no power to the tiny magnet. Had to use 3 of them to hold a cord where one of the others would have worked.

These work well for containing phone charger cords, but they stick to each other if you put them all in one drawer.

I don’t regret much in my life, but I regret buying these. The colors are lovely, and the silicon is strong, but the magnets are SUPER weak! They’re also a funny length: they are always too long to go around once, but too short to go around twice (they stretch, but then the magnets don’t hold). I’ve tried and tried to use them, but they never fit or function. I just gave mine to a friend and said if he can’t find a use for them, throw them away.

So I bought these mostly on a whim, not because I needed them. Right now I have a few stuck to my iron bedstand to hold cords. They stretch very well and presumably would be super useful for intense cord organization but.But.the magnets pop out.There are three parts: the actual long bit with the two circles, the two magnets, and little rubber housings for those magnets that fit into hollows on the two circles of the loop. The housings can just pop right out, and so can the magnets, leaving you with many little pieces.On the plus side, this makes these cord organizers EXCELLENT little fidget toys. When I figured out I could remove the magnets I spend a solid fifteen minutes just playing aroundm enjoying the feel of the rolling silicon and sliding the magnets into and out of their little housings.Unfortunately, you're not looking for a fidget toy, you're looking for a magnetic cord organizer. If you live alone or have an orderly/not often jostled setup, these will probably help. If you have pets, kids, or other obstacles that will be tugging and pulling on these organizers, they aren't for you- the chance of losing a magnet is just too high.

These work really well, only thing to note is that the magnets can come out very easily so these should probably not be used near young children.

Honestly, these are prefect for people like me who have massive amount of charging cables that requires different power output for different equipment that are being carried around. Me, I have 3 phones, 2 laptops, 1 gaming mouse, 1 tablets, 1 camera, and 1 mini mic. Again, I can’t use the single wire with multiple heads due to different power outputs, so these wonderful colorful cute little magnet ties are life saver for me. The fact that they can have all my cables stay in a bundle, and take out what I need by simply by opening the magnets is absolutely joyful in my experience. And no, you should not keep magnets close to phones or tablets by all means, but these magnets are not that sticky strong to give that much interference, and the magnets can be pulled apart from the strap if I try to, so I keep them separated from my gadgets in a bag.I love these little things, still, I don’t think they are meant for thicker wires. If you need to do cable management for appliances or work stations, I personally suggest skip these and get proper cable management and zip ties that can actually hold cables steady in place and shield your cables from view. I mean these are interesting and colorful little pieces that will pop out in view and actually make your wires more visible than others, which may become a potential hazard for your children and pets. But for tidy up massive charging cables (which require frequent putting back together and taken apart) like mine, oh yea, these pretty babies are the best!

If you're looking for something to replace Velcro wraps or twist ties then you would almost certainly be happier with or .However, if you are looking for a light duty thing to secure light duty cables then this might be what you want. What I like about them is the magnets, in addition to sticking to each other, stick to metal. That makes it easy to organize cables on the side of a filing cabinet or along a metal strip that's attached to a wall over my desk as shown in the picture.+++ It's one year since I bought these and times have changed. Since getting a 3D printer I've been able to make customized cable clamps that are designed to fit specific needs. As a result, I no longer need these once useful cable wraps to wrap cables. However, even in obsolescence these things are stull useful. I'm using the magnets, two in each wrap, for refrigerator magnets.
