Fit perfectly. Works as intended. Installed on a 2004 Impreza RS that is fully STi swapped. Only concern is mounting points are a little sus. As with and FMIC on these cars you will need the Killer B oil fill relocation as the piping and oil fill cap come in contact with eachother. Mine oil cap is metal and was trying to rub a hole in the pipe on the right. Hence the rag in between(ez oil check rag). Other than that. Less than likely you will be able to have fog lights. So plan on buying the covers. I did not have fog lights. But i dont see them fitting if you do. Came with all clamps, couplings/90s. Only downfall is theyre blue.

To say I'm dissapointed in the quality is an understatement. The welds on the replacement crash bar are not great, they didn't even weld all the way around some of the points, pretty sure anything mounted to them will break off under vibration. They neglected to clean the weld soot off any of it, there is weld slag on both sides that will need ground off before I can install it or it will puncture the core. And to sum up the worst part the entire crash bar side is friggen bent! Not just a little it looks like to have got dropped at the shop and then they just stuck it in the box anyways and packaged it up. I have attached pictures of the crash bar so they can see thier mistakes but I doubt anyone will care. I dont usually leave bad reviews but this is entirely poor work quality and obviously QC is non existent at the facility. **Update** got it installed today and man that was a chore, everything fit but not great, there was no silicone coupler for the piping to the throttle body so I had to order one and that means the car sits till another day. Also the outlet for the blow off valve or re-circulater valve is 1.25" not 1.375" which means the hose I bought for it is too big but I'm hoping a hose clamp will hold it since finding a reduced coupler that will fit in that area is non existent. The overflow tank mounting is still out as I cannot find a great place to mount it yet and the bracket attached lends no idea on how or where to mount it. Instructions in this kit would have been lovely. Honestly I think this kit needs a redesign to make that outlet 1.375 actual, since that is what the adapter size is for the recirculating valve made by all the companies 1/8" gap doesn't sound like a big gap but that is a boost leak waiting to happen.

Installed, fitment was good. If you want install to be easier, use soapy water and spray the metal and silicone to make them slide onto each other. The throttle body silicone connector needs to be heated up to get it over the throttle, but that only took a few minutes.Update:Been full sending on 18-20 psi for 7 months now, and the only thing that blew was my engine from running too much power. I did need to bend the IC mount to get it to fit, and had to file the holes down slightly. Running on bumpy roads havent made it come off, so it seems secure. Overall for the price, you get what you expect. You don't get perfection but it isn't bad at all, as long as you get one of the good ones since I doubt they have any quality control.

Not all of the pipes fit right, and they had to be cut or move other things to make room for them. Not a direct bolt on kit.

The intercooler is massive!Havent installed yet. But quality of parts is about what I would expect for the price.The welds are amateur and there is some obvious heat warping.The welds on the intercooler are way better than the welds in the bumper beam. And the intercooler has been treated to remove the weld burns.Will update after fitment.Update:Fitment was pretty good. People claim to be missing the couple that goes from throttle body to the first U pipe. The same blue coupling that fits on all the pipes can be stretched to fit over the throttle body. It's hard to do and it's very tight. But I've seen it done multiple times now.A few parts/tabs needs some manhandling. But overall fitment was good.It is common for people (especially on the internet) to argue about increased lag or reduced flow from a fmic. While in some extreme examples that may be true. The reality is that it isnt that bad.The OEM 2005 wrx intercooler isnt that great. I've seen graphs of intake temps on pulls. An sti intake may have helped but again, its temperature slowly rises and spikes from consecutive hard/long pulls. A front mount that's 3 times the size of either of those things, with a steady stream of air at all times and zero % chance of heat soaking doesnt heat spike. Not at my turbo/power levels anyways.*VF48 20PSIWhen I installed the fmic I also installed the set of headers and a 3inch exhaust. I have at least the exact same spool rate and 100 additional lb of torque and 50 more horsepower.My boost gauge reads boost from crank case. Not from the turbo. There is no pressure drop.I hit Max boost long before 3200rpm in every gear and hold it until 7k without a problem.Before my personal experience; I recognized the potential for loss of power from FMIC. I thought of the front mount more as insurance to future power than as a power adder. I was prepared to trade slower spool or a pressure drop for the security of consistently cold air, but again...neither of those things have been any issue at all.I really think this kit is a great bang for the buck. Most decent top mounts are the same price.A few months later...I'm still absolutely loving it. Car runs so much better in every way. Its getting HOT where I live and so far this thing is holding up.Update years later: I installed pre and post intercooler temp sensors, and this lowers the temperature by about 20 degrees give or take… the faster you are moving the better it cools. I now have the equivalent of a 20g turbo and this thing has no issues with it. The cooling is great, the lag is minimal, the strength is great. No problems after several years. I have recommended this two two friends who have also purchased and installed with similar results.

For the price best kit on the market, but there are alot of small imperfections nothing that would impact function just cosmetic defects
