Love how the handle is stainless steel. Wooden handles are so hard to clean and this one is so easy!! Love this one and the other stainless steel handle palette knives they have. Only wish there were more .

The RGIR110 painting knife is pretty, but absolutely unusable. I flexed the blade, lightly, against my palette, and it STAYED BENT. Flexed it in the other direction, not hard at all, and it took a definite bend the other way. I don't know what kind of steel these guys used, but it's impossibly soft, has no spring to it whatsoever, and is utterly useless. It's not as if RGM doesn't know how to make a decent painting knife -- they do. I have e couple. But this thing sucks. Don't buy it.

I live in a humid tropical environment. I've tried wooden handle knives, but after some time it is common for the paint/varnish to crack and flake off into my paints. Also, wooden handle knives can't just be tossed into the sink to soak.I ordered four of the RGM Idea Line Painting/Palette Knives, not knowing what the quality of these would really be what with so much marginally-manufactured junk on the market. I was very pleasantly surprised as these knives look and feel like medical-quality instruments. Nicely finished, smooth edges, impeccably polished to a mirror shine, the fine surfaces make the tools a pleasure to look at and to hold. The handles have rounded edges and have sufficient heft. They feel good in my hands. The business end of the knives are ground quite thin and flex perfectly on the palette. They allow me to spread paint on the canvas with control and precision. I love good tools and these absolutely qualify.This is a product that the manufacturer can be completely proud of. I'm 100% happy that I bought them.

Lo compré hace un mes pues decía que venía el cuchillo y unas espátulas para decorar. Apenas ayer desempaque la caja pues no lo había usado y viene solamente el cuchillo. No lo que se indicaba en la compra "cuchillo y espatulas".

This item shows pictures of 6 pallet knives. It is described as: "Innovative, functional and light-weight, this range of palette knives is made fully of non-welded stainless steel, resulting in a very sturdy knife that can be used with chemical-based products." It clearly describes more than one product. There are no options to purchase the other 5 knives and you don't know which one you are getting. It is apparently the 2nd knife from the left. This is clearly a marketing ploy. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I am refunding this for exchange to buy something from another vendor, thanks to the exchange policy setup by Amazon.com. The knife itself appears fine, but I won't even bother to take it out of the plastic for a closer examination. It was shipped decently quickly, but for something like this, it's not a plus.
