Review for: HEEPDD Ribbon Bow Maker, Wooden Wreath Bow Maker Tool for Making Gift Bows Wrist Corsages Party Decorations Hair Bows Holiday Wreaths4I need to start looking at measurements for items I order. Because this bow maker is a lot smaller than I expected it to be. But on the plus side it is a lot easier to use then the very large bow maker I already have.The set is made up of the Base, 4 larger dowels and 4 small dowels. There are 18 total holes on the base. 8 small holes for the small skinny dowels and 10 larger holes for the bigger wider dowels. There was also a information sheet that included some pictures for making a satin bow and for a ribbon bow. The info sheet may be helpful for some but for me it was too small and not really helpful.Both the Bow Maker Base and the dowels are made of wood. The wood is smooth and sturdy. The holes are even. I didn’t see any splinters or rough edges. The bow maker is easy to assemble. The dowels stayed in the holds I placed them in. It did take a little more effort to remove some of the dowels from the base since the dowels fit really snug in a few of the holes. But that is not a bad feature because you want your dowels to stay in place and not be wiggly when you are making a bow. If you want to take transport the bow maker you can either leave it assembled or you can take the dowels out of the holes and transport it that way.The bow maker I received came in a zip close plastic bag which I plan on using to store the bow maker in when I am not using it. I don’t want to give the wrong impression so I want to clarify my comment, The plastic bag is just a regular plastic bag that can be closed by pressing the strips near the top. While it is good enough to store the bow maker in I do not think this plastic bag will be able to handle a lot of opening and closing.As for the bow maker It should hold up really well and last for a while. Based on the quality and how it is made I think it is a good value for the money.I do have a tip for anyone using a bow maker for the first time or if they need additional help on using a bow maker. There are many craft sites on the internet by individuals and some Craft & Hobby stores where you can find instructions or how-to‘ guides for making all kinds of bows. There are also a lot of craft books that can be helpful. (the local library may even have some books you can check out). Another source is YouTube which may have some videos for using a bow maker or sharing ideas. .

This wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but it was my fault, I didn’t read the full description. It does work good. Wish it had more details in the instructions for a beginner.
