I recently got a vintage patio skirt - possibly from the 50s - and could not find a top to match that would do it justice as an outfit. So I decided to make a peasant blouse with ric rac matching the skirt. Easy, right? Wrong!!!! With so many fabric stores that have been closing, hard to find one with a good selection. The selection for ric rac in minimal and usually only in basic colors. Turning to Amazon, I found colors close enough to match the skirt, and the right size also. Should be a brilliant outfit when finished. I'm planning on getting more ric rac for future projects, Amazon has all sizes and a good variety of colors too. Great price. Happy seamstress!
