After re-stuccoing the house, we wanted something more classic than black metal numbers. This vertical plaguewas perfect for the wall outside the garage door. Classic and elegant; now neighbors are copying the idea.

After purchasing this plaque, I realized it was too small and too dark to really stand out. I was also told by my wife that its a little old fashioned based on what we are seeing on many of the homes in our neighborhood. I purchased individual numbers, about 4" in size, and spaced them vertically on a white background. The address really stands out now and appears more stylish.I'm not saying that the plaque is not good quality. If you are looking for a plaque, this is a good one. Just didn't work out for me.

We bought this vertical house number sign to go on a mailbox column where we had to have the house number on three sides. Two on these on either side and a horizontal lighted sign with the full address on the front looks very nice on the column. The numbering is large and easy to read. The metal sign is heavy duty and should last for a very long time. I have ordered house numbers from this company for other homes through the years, and they look new for a very very long time.

High quality metal. Painting is clear. If I were to buy again I would get the bigger size for better visibility from the street BUT that is not a reflection on this item. It is exactly as described and very well made. If in doubt about size you might want to consider the larger one.

This is a beautiful plaque, heavy and elegant. We mounted it on a porch post and aimed two solar spotlights on it, so it is easily legible, even at night.
