The most this tool can do is scratch a 1.5 inch ABS pipe, does not even come close to cutting through it.

Works great for 1 1/2" foam core PVC drain. Makes a nice clean cut and no messy shavings or roaming. Nice tool.

I am extremely disappointed in this tool. It will not make a straight cut even with brand new blades. I requested a refund.
