A very good thread cutting oil and general purpose machining oil. Some odor, but not overpowering. Sticks where you apply it and a little goes a long way. I keep a small can nearby on my lathe and use it for almost every lathe operation.A good cutting oil and a great value.

I was in need of some new cutting fluid and knew the name Ridgid, so I bought this. Glad that I did. First use was while milling some pretty tough steel and even with a roughing end mill, I got a respectable finish. Next used with a 4" fly cutter and the results were very good. Next used it to drill and thread a hole in the same piece of steel the cutting oil made it easy to do both. Like most cutting oils it did smoke some, but smell was not overbearing and the next day there was no lingering odors. Very satisfied will purchase again.
