Got this for my 18 year old Murray 42"/17.5HP riding mower.Seat frame on tractor needed to have the slots widened slightly on the slider bolts and new holes drilled to accommodate bolt pattern.Easy peasy!Original seat frame cracked and was starting to short battery and became very uncomfortable.This new seat is outstanding. Seat is very thick and quite firm. The firmness is great because it gives on harsh bumps. Not soft and cushy! You don't want a mushy seat on these things.Was a great deal made better by Amazon offering $50 off for getting their credit card.If you get one, be prepared to do some seat frame modification. Just marked and drilled two new holes and grinded the slots about 1/16" wider for this mower.The plus is that I live in the desert, and the original black seat would get blistering hot in the sun. That's another reason I bought this - yellow only gets warm in the sun. Excellent purchase, would buy again.

Needed a new seat for my JD 485 Backhoe, not designed for it, and needed to drill 2 new holes in the BH mounting plate, but fits great now that it is installed, and is much more comfortable then the previous seat.

Nicely made (appearance) and perfect fit to my riding tractor/mowerwould be a 5 star BUTin less than a year the outside cover cracked on corner of seat and I ended up putting gorilla tape on it a couple times a year trying to stem the growth of the cracking

This seat will NOT work with a John Deere L110. There in no place to connect the occupancy safety switch on the bottom of the seat. Seller charged me $20 for return shipping, which I am having my credit card company dispute as this product was described to work with John Deere and did not.
