Each interface of RIITOP USB 3.0 PCIe Card has a separate safety capacitor. The current interface will be automatically disconnected, if any defective peripherals connected. But it will not affect the other interfaces. RIITOP PCIe USB Adapter is directly powered by PCI Express slot, no need to connect to power supply of PC, provide Max 8A current ( each port 5V/2A 10W Max), the 4pcs independent power management chips to ensure 2A current for each port.

Love this. I don't know why computer and motherboard manufacturers still think that having 2-3 USB ports available is acceptable in this day and age, but they do, and so a an expansion card like this is very helpful. I don't need USB 3.0 for most of my peripherals, but it's great to have, and almost future proofs this for a while to come. This was plug and play on my PC.

Wanted to add some extra USB ports to the back of my desktop. This card is perfect. Windows 11 saw it on boot up and it was installed and ready to go in less than 2 minutes. Function is perfect with no problem. The heat sink is a nice touch, and the card is very well made. Read and write speeds are just fine for me.Nice product, nice price.

I’m running four HDD chassis at 5 drives a piece. This card has no problem handling a heavy workload transferring files from one enclosure to another. Speed is right where it’s expected to be. 175MB/sec for mechanical HDDs, 550MB/sec for SSD. I’m pleased with my purchase and highly recommend!Edit: just ran out of USB ports and bought a second card. Plug and play. Nothing to set up. It just works, and works well!Edit 2: I've pushed roughly 20TB of data across this thing, running for an entire day sometime just moving data. No issues at all. Super speed and stays cool and efficient.
