I got this to use as more of an extension to mount my Eufy doorbell away from some trim around the door. The mount is generally okay, but there were things I didn't care for. The mounting kit comes with the plastic case, backplate, and door-mount for your doorbell. It also comes with cut pieces of foam to fill-in around the doorbell when you place it in the case. Two mysterious pieces of foam, that are adhesive, were included - but are never shown or discussed in the instructions. Screws and mounting hardware are also included.During installation, I found that the instructions were not very good. But you can figure things out. I didn't care for the foam inserts as they had a tendency to extends past where the case, for the doorbell, would close. I had to do some modifications to make mine work as they should. Closing the case is where I knocked this set two stars. They did not include a fine machine screw to lock the case together with the tapped screw hole on the bottom. It was a different size than the other machine screw holes for which they did include screws. So I had to go looking for one in the dreaded tool bins in the garage (you know the ones, where you toss leftover nuts, screws, bolts, etc). I found one and used that. Case closed - but I should never have had to do that.This mount gets a big "meh" from me. I think I would look at other solutions.

I love this doorbell. I have even want to buy the indoor camera. It helps deter thieves from stealing my packages. Definitely, easy to install and does require some additional tools if you hard wiring it to your original doorbell. It very durable in any weather and shows clear videos. Definitely will buy more ring products.

I bought this, sent it back and then bought it again. It was great for what I needed it for. I only had about 2 inches to work with, so I attached this to a small, thin slab of wood to have it pull away from the bricks on my house. I screwed the slab into the house, then screwed the ring doorbell, in this case to the slab. It works excellent!

Fits the Ring door bell ok. Door clamping system is mediocre.
