Your cart is empty.RIO’s Fathom lines are a series of sinking lines designed specifically for the lake angler. Each line has a short, quick-loading head for minimizing the number of false casts, and for quick, easy distance, and a color contrast between the head and the running line to easily show the line’s loading point. In addition, each line is built with a Hang Marker that shows anglers when to stop stripping, and when to fish the “hang”, and features RIO’s “Density Compensation” (except Type 7) for complete fly control.

There are many options available for backing. I purchased this RIO backing for 2 reasons:#1. It's made in the USA and competitively priced.#2. The Light Blue looked like the color I wanted.I recently purchased a 2024 Orvis Battenkill II Click in Bronze, and I bought this backing in Light Blue in hopes that the color would give a nice visual pop on the reel. I was a little concerned the Light Blue would be too light, and not provide any pop. Thankfully, it has all the pop I was hoping for.

Used 1 day - line kept breaking. Lost 2 good fish. Been fishing for more than 40 years, so I know what line performance should be. Very disappointed. Won't use again.

Hace años que uso Rio para atar la mosca al bajo de línea y nunca hasta ahora había tenido problemas. Desde que compré el nuevo Rio Powrflex Plus Tippet de 5X he perdido más truchas y moscas que nunca. Tras poco rato de acción de pesca se degrada el nudo de la mosca y se pierde o se la lleva en la boca cualquier pez que la toma.Por favor vuelvan a la fórmula anterior y quiten el Plus de este, hasta ahora, magnífico hilo.
