I have used this stuff since it came out. It has been guide-standard for many years but tastes change. This is also available in fluorocarbon at a considerably higher price. If you want to explore the finer points of leader and tippet, here is the spot: [...]All of the Yellowstone Angler Shootouts are fun to read and full of info. I bought a rod based on one of the tests and saved a bundle. As to to Rio, I've tried them all but never found a compelling reason to change.
