As the name implies, this is a great cow elk call. It's light on the tongue, chirpy, and easy to use. For fun I tried to crank out a couple of bugles-- and it does produce a very good bugle, but it's finicky and easy to make it sound like a bull going through puberty or a bull with with laryngitis.Cow and calf sounds? Clean tones, easy to use, good volume control (soft news or fairly loud chirps), fantastic at its job. Bull sounds? Pick another call.

Very nice cow elk call for beginners to advanced callers. Comfortable and can be cut to size.
